Endoscopy through nose has opened the gateway for ENT surgeon to expand their horizons in unexplored area of surgery.Today, we not only deal with the diseases of the nose and sinuses but also that of the orbit, orbital apex, the skull base, pituitary, and the clivus through the nasal cavities with endoscope without any external incision and stiches.

endoscopes were introduced for nasal surgery in late eighties,but it took very long time for this technique to get popular in India,particularly in Gujarat. People were afraid of these surgeries due to high recurrence rate.
